Below are links to both published and unpublished appeals that Mr. Forman has handled, along with brief descriptions of the issues in the appeal and an explanation of the appellate court’s reasoning.  When the decisions are available on the internet,  the case is linked to that online opinion.  Some appeals (mostly unpublished decisions prior to 2004) are not available online and hard copies of these decision are reviewable as PDF files.

These links include all appeals handled by Mr. Forman–including outright losses and one appeal in which Mr. Forman was not the primary counsel–that resulted in a ruling other than a “summary” decision (a summary decision is one that does not explain its reasoning other than to cite previous case law or statutes to explain each issue on appeal).

Put Mr. Forman’s experience, knowledge, and dedication to your service for any of your South Carolina family law needs.
