Stillinger v. Stillinger is an unpublished September 2005 opinion from the South Carolina Court of Appeals. After a trial in which issues of alimony, property division and attorneys fees were heavily disputed, both sides appealed. I was retained to handle Mr. Stillinger’s appeal and defend his ex-wife’s appeal.
Both parties appealed the amount of alimony awarded and the division of the parties’ property. Ms. Stillinger further appealed her denial of attorney’s fees. The Court of Appeals affirmed the lower court’s ruling on all issues. Basically a tie.
